In April 2021 members have been asked for details for the inclusion in Nederland’s Patriciaat 98 (2022). About Nederland’s Patriciaat

Included in Nederland’s Patriciaat (Netherland’s Patricianship) are genealogies of families that have played a continious leading role in Dutch society for at least the past 150 years. Up to today they are prominent members of society as gouvernors, scientists, officers or businessmen.

The Kolff Family in Nederland’s Patriciaat

The Kolff Family (Kolff, Van Breda Kolff, Van Santen Kolff, Kolff van Oosterwijk) has been included since the earliest publications of Nederland’s Patriciaat. As from its first inclusion, in part 3 (1912), the family has also been included in the parts 15 (1925), 51 (1965) and 78 (1994). In the 78th issue the genealogy is included up to 1994. The genealogy at this website follows this publication, but has been updated to the present day. Condition for this is that members of the family keep the Association informed about recent changes.

Move of Nederland’s Patriciaat

Onlangs verscheen de 94e jaargang van Nederland’s Patriciaat. Sinds 1946, toen deel 32 verscheen, heeft het Centraal Bureau voor de Genealogie de uitgaven verzorgd. In verband met een reorganisatie stopt het CBG daar nu mee. De reeks wordt met ingang van 1 januari 2016 voortgezet door Historisch Bureau De Clercq en Uitgeverij Verloren. Ten behoeve hiervan is de Stichting ‘Het Blauwe Boekje. Uitgever van het Nederland’s Patriciaat’ opgericht, waaraan het CBG alle publicatierechten heeft overgedragen. Deze stichting bewaakt de continuïteit en kwaliteit van de reeks.

Nederland's Patriciaat 1972-2009

In December 2015 appeared ‘Nederland’s Patriciaat 1972-2009. Tweeëndertig jaargangen uitgelicht’ by Dr. Jochem Kroes. This is part XXII in the series ‘Werken uitgegeven door het Koninklijk Nederlandsch Genootschap voor Geslacht- en Wapenkunde’.

This work studies 32 annual issues of the Nederland’s Patriciaat and analyses the family-, cultural and social-historical ties of 406 notable families in the Netherlands. The population comprises arond 25% of the total of the 1800 Netherlands families in the NP’s 100 year history. The Kolff family is often mentioned in this study.
