in a bookstore in america i found a book with the title:
our fantastic 20th century
this book was a publication by... readers digest
it made me laugh (bitterly):
i found it amoungst 100s of books on wars in the same century
at my 'old' site millennium has been about war:
it listed present day wars, i had to discontinue the inclusion of this list: too many to keep it up! nevertheless i wanted to include this page at my 'new' site
sometimes one can be happy:

this bridge means so much to me
it is a bridge between muslims and christians
between serbs, croats, muslims and christians in bosnia
hopefully a bridge to all in the former yugoslavia
and a bridge for all who see the importance of this bridge |
